    I love this place and it is probably more of a nostalgia thing than anything. When I went back to RI for the holidays I knew I had to find some time to stop into Wiener Genie. The interior itself is nothing to write home about, but would you really expect anything else for a place like this?

    I can't recall ever having bad service here or ever having a kitchen mix up. I always go with two all the way without onions, some fresh hot fries, and of course a coffee milk to top it off. Mostly just because you can't get coffee milk in NC so might as well appreciate it while I'm there. I love everything about the wieners from the bun to the loads of celery salt. If you are looking for a quick lunch and have some cash, I would recommend stopping in here.

    Best weiners in RI!!!  We go here often and love it!  Great service, dawn treats you like family, it's a pleasure to see her every time!

    Good to see this place is still here.  Best weiners in RI.  Clean place and everybody here is nice.  Cash only but there is an ATM there that charges like 2 bucks.  Prices are really cheap.  Breakfast was pretty good too and the service is fast! No idea why all the bad reviews this is a must visit at least twice during my trips to RI every few years.

    The comments of an old school "greasy spoon" fit this restaurant quite well....It has been years since I have been there and the decor hasn't changed a bit. The wieners lacked flavor and the prices weren't all that good either. There is lots of competition in RI for this type of "cuisine" and I would have to give it a pass on this place.

    Walked in to pick up my order and as soon as I walked to the counter I was just stared at. Not greeted by any waiter, the greasy fat dude cooking looked right at me & and said not one thing and continued to cook. As I'm standing there waiting to get any type of eye sight or any acknowledgment that I was even standing there at all, I see the waitresses looking at each other as like who was even going to talk to me. I look around to all these famous sports players, celebrities & musicians, and then I notice that there's not ONE picture of any famous African Americans on the wall.

    At that point I got my hint, the blonde waitress came and smiled and cashed me out thankfully & I got right out of there. I know where I'm not wanted.
